At Proto-shop.se, trading as Smalland 3D Print, we strive to deliver high-quality 3D prints with transparency and fairness. However, 3D printing—especially with Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)—has inherent limitations that all customers must understand before submitting a print job.
1. Submission Responsibility
When placing an order, you have two service options:
If no consultation is selected, and the model has problems due to missing or unclear instructions, we do not accept responsibility.
2. Print Quality Expectations
FDM printing has limitations:
- Visible layer lines (e.g., "stepping spheres")
- Tolerance and fit variability
- Weak or fragile strands below the strength threshold may fail
By submitting your model, you accept these limitations.
3. Returns & Remakes
We do not accept returns unless:
- The item arrives damaged in shipping, OR
- There is a clear production error on our part
If damaged, contact us within 5 days with photos of packaging and product.
4. Non-Returnable Cases
We cannot accept responsibility when:
- Issues arise from unclear/missing details in standard submission
- Model design is too fragile
- Printing limitations were explained and accepted
- Dissatisfaction relates to normal FDM surface finish
